Sean and I have found that the way in which we begin our mornings usually determines how the rest of our day will unfold. For example: if we have a lazy morning (which I love), we usually have an unproductive and utterly fruitless day (though totally fun and relaxing). If we begin our morning productively and/or with a plan, then we usually have a day filled with achievements AND fun and we ultimately feel better about ourselves and life in general (granted, if we have nothing to actually DO, laziness and leisure are totally wonderful)!
At 8 this morning I helped clean our church building with the Relief Society (I was on the chair setting up committee we created on the spot and disbanded an hour later), followed by a 9 o'clock grocery run to Safeway and a prescription pick up at RiteAid. Productive? I think so :) After I got home and Sean and I finished putting all of the goods away, Sean suggested that we sit down for a couple minutes and go over what we'd like to get done that day (reason # 76,326,111,987 I love Sean). I was like, "Right ooonnnn!" Our pow wow (and a dang good pow wow at that) was followed by a get 'er done, follow through, love is in the air, on the same page, full and wonderful kind of day! Sometimes I really love having a productive, busy Saturday so I can appreciate our Day of Rest even more :) Did I mention that I love a good pow wow?

I love this post. I think my favorite feeling in the whole wide world is on Saturdays, in the early to mid afternoon, when all the shopping and cleaning is done, and I've got the rest of the day ahead. (Deep sigh of joy.)
Have I mentioned I love that cute face of yours?! And pow-wows. In a vineyard. *B
